Jembatan Kota Intan

Still from my trips around Oud Batavie, this is Jembatan Kota Intan.
Jembatan means bridge, Kota Intan literally means Diamond City.
it was constructed in 1628 during VOC Dutch colonial its name was Engelse Brug or English Bridge because at that time there was English Fort near by.
In 1938 Dutch Queen, Juliana often renovated the bridge so once it was called Juliana Bridge.
If there’s boat passing below the bridge, those bridge can be lifted, see it in the middle?
It still work in 1972, but now the access through the bridge is closed.
