Sungai Musi or Musi river is Palembang’s City Landmark.
It is 750 km length and claimed to be the longest river in Sumatera Island.
It devide Palembang City into two region and The bridge that cross upon it called Jembatan Ampera.
You should see the bridge at night, it equipped with thousand lights and the view is soo great.
PS : I didn’t see it my self, just happened to see on someone’s pics.
Taken : August 26th 2007.
Update: I forgot, this year South Sumatera Goverment launch Visit Musi Year 2008.
There’ll be lots of exhibition I guess, including a boat that will take you to explore Musi River. 🙂
